Lavaur. Thursdays in the Garden return behind the town hall

On Thursday, July 4, the four evenings of concerts of the Thursdays in the Garden will begin. Although the gardens of the bishopric are still closed to the public following the tragedy that took place there on June 8 after two large branches fell, the festival is still going ahead.

It is being moved to the site, right next door in the parking lot behind the town hall.

The event offers a free concert every Thursday in July as many opportunities to meet up in the heart of the city. Because, in addition to the programming on the stage,

The first of these events will take place on Thursday, July 4 with the group Macadam Farmer who will open the evening at 8:30 p.m. The group gives the most famous artists (ACDC, Bee Gees, U2, Cindy Lauper, Queen, Prince, Simple Minds, etc.) a flavor that smells of the Louisiana bayous.

The headliner will be Access Crew, who will mix groove, funk and disco music. The happy-go-lucky Toulouse guys have signed a tour in Italy and multiple concerts throughout France, the Rex venue being “sold out” for them. Keeping a funky-groovy-baby touch, their compositions are inspired by many different styles, ranging from progressive rock to disco-house to experimental electro-acoustic music.

The goal at Access Crew is simple: to produce the most universal music possible, so that everyone can relate; and what could be better than the spirit of funk…

Catering will be available on site from 7:30 p.m. and the scheduled concerts will begin at 8:30 p.m.
