The new season of The Agency will be broadcast this Thursday, December 5, 2024 on TMC. The opportunity for Valentin Kretz to make some revelations about the program this Friday, November 22, 2024.
It’s the moment fans have been impatiently waiting for: December 5, 2024, the new season of The Agency: luxury real estate arrives on TMC. This program, which follows the professional and personal adventures of the Kretz family, continues to captivate viewers year after year. At the end of the previous season, Louis, one of the sons, embarked on a new adventure by moving to Barcelona with his wife to develop the agency. A significant departure for this close-knit family, already busy with the return of parents, Olivier and Sandrine, to France after a stay in Brazil.
The fourth season also saw the arrival of Raphaël, the youngest, in the family business, ready to prove that he has what it takes to be a real estate agent. For this fifth season, the production still promises twists and turns, notably with the arrival of a new agent, whose choices risk shaking up the dynamics of the agency. As for Valentin, he had announced his desire to fly to New York, an ambition which is finally taking shape in this season full of surprises.
Accusations of fixing swept aside by family
Since its growing success, The Agency has regularly been the target of criticism, with some accusing the program of being scripted. Faced with these accusations, Valentin Kretz wanted to set the record straight. Asked by TV Star Friday November 22, 2024 he confided: “It doesn’t affect us, because it’s unfounded. If it were true, maybe it would hurt us, but these are just rumors.” His brother Martin had also defended the transparency of the show in 2023, saying that everything that is broadcast reflects reality. However, the criticism did not fall from the sky: some viewers noticed inconsistencies and supposedly exclusive real estate appearing in other agencies. The comments of Fabrice Luchini, a guest in one of the seasons, also fueled the controversy: he revealed that he had faked a visit to offices that he already owned. But for the Kretz family, these anecdotes do not taint the authenticity of their work, which they firmly defend.
Valentin, between New York and France
Now settled in New York with his wife Charina and their son Noah, Valentin Kretz seems to be enjoying this new stage. Always at TV Starhe describes the American metropolis as an environment that suits him perfectly: “It’s an incredibly dynamic and cosmopolitan city, where we feel at home.” He does not rule out a possible return to France, a choice which remains unresolved: “We don’t know yet if we’re moving there for good. It’s a balance to find between what my parents hope for and reality.” This move also represents a professional challenge, in an increasingly complicated international real estate market. Valentin observes that customer expectations are changing rapidly: “Today, it is no longer enough to offer an exceptional property. We must also support customers with tailor-made services.”
