Exceptional pieces

“These shoes are very emblematic. Blue Suede Shoes and Hound Dog are things you immediately think of when you talk about Elvis Presley. They go beyond popular culture. They are simply exceptional pieces of show business, music and popular culture.said the auction house.

The famous pair of shoes, authenticated by Jimmy Velvet, a close friend of Elvis Presley, had already been exhibited in several museums. Last year, the auction house had sold a mink coat having belonged to Elvis Presley for 128 000 livres sterling to an American collector.
