1 for two weeks. For the last one, on June 28, the host gave a rant. He notably mentioned the formal notice to the station for a “lack of measure and honesty” revealed the day before. Arcom criticized the presenter and his team for having treated the New Popular Front in a “systematically critical and virulent manner, often in pejorative and outrageous terms.” It was also reported that he had received a majority of guests from the far right.
This formal notice was very noticed and it did not fail to make Cyril Hanouna react. Before starting, the host said: “It’s going to shake a little bit… “. He then reversed this decision, giving a cash opinion. “Frankly, the double standard is crazy!” he lamented before continuing:
“Be careful, we are listening to you, we are not happy”. Cyril Hanouna spoke without tongue in cheek, recalling: “I know fines well…”,
referring to the convictions he was the target of on C8.

Cyril Hanouna was very upset and he did not hesitate to make it known. For him, this decision is not insignificant and highlights the fact that he cannot express himself freely.

, he said. The host did not mince his words, then specifying that he was the victim of a “harshness against my person”. He said he was targeted, no matter what channel or antenna he was on. “If I’m on M6, it’s M6 that will take it. We laugh about it, but it’s extremely serious because I think there’s something behind it.” he said.
The columnists present alongside Cyril Hanouna immediately declared that they were of the same opinion. “This double standard is annoying a lot of people and it will play a role in the voters’ choice on Sunday,” believes Eric Naulleau. Same story for Gilles Verdez: “From the first day, they listened with the perspective of sanctioning”, he assured before continuing: “The speed of the sanction shows panic on board. The State, the power in place, wants to curb the freedom of speech of the entire Bolloré group, which lets everyone speak, which is pluralist.” For the columnist, only Cyril Hanouna is targeted.

The formal notice, Cyril Hanouna assures that he does not understand it. If he understands the fact that his show and the comments he makes can be disturbing, he declares that he is not the only one. The host mentioned other examples which, according to him, would deserve Arcom’s attention.

A few weeks ago, Cyril Hanouna appeared before the National Assembly as part of the commission of inquiry into the allocation of DTT frequencies. A very noted hearing and he deplored the fact that only the reproaches were mentioned. “We broadcast 5,000 hours live per year and the facts we are accused of represent barely 0.1% of all this airtime,” he explained before continuing: “There are two people who take risks on TV, me and Pascal Praud.
