Demon Slayer continues with three upcoming films

Fans of Demon Slayer are numerous today. With more than 150 million copies sold, manga is considered a global phenomenon. And Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaibaits anime adaptation, has also been a great success since 2019. Fans of the work imagined by Koyoharu Gotoge were therefore obviously there to discover the final episode of the arc Pillar Training, broadcast this June 30 on Crunchyroll. The platform took the opportunity to make a big announcement regarding the sequel. Namely the upcoming arrival at the cinema ofa trilogy of films to cover the next arc Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba The Infinite Fortress. This will be the final arc and climax of the series.

In its press release, Crunchyroll specifies that the trilogy will be released in theaters worldwide. The release date remains to be defined.. Rahul Purini, President of Crunchyroll, was delighted and said: “We are thrilled to bring this trilogy of films to the big screen for fans; it promises to be one of the most epic and important pop culture events of our time.“. To accompany this announcement, a poster of The Fortress of the Infinite was shared.

An impressive success for the saga

This is not the first time that Demon Slayer will be shown on the big screen. The beginning of season 4 had been offered in a few theaters as a preview last February. In feature film format, it had already been a success.
