More than 150 dates on five continents for one of the most grandiose tours in music history. After more than a year traveling the planet, Taylor Swift will soon close the most intense episode of her career with the end of “The Eras Tour”.
On the occasion of one of his last performances on Saturday, in Toronto, the superstar could not hold back his emotions, when thanking his fans, his musicians and the entire production. “I don’t even know what I’m saying anymore, sorry,” she said before wiping away a tear. A touching moment which was greeted by “swifities” on social networks.
Other, more unexpected, fans of the American also had a great time during this series of concerts in Canada, like Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, present Friday evening.
The tour will finally end on Sunday December 8 after three final dates in Vancouver. What’s next? Probably some rest for the star, before embarking on a new album.
“The Eras Tour” is expected to bring in 2 billion euros in revenue and constitute the most profitable tour in the history of music. To reach such heights, Taylor Swift did not do things by halves, in stadiums around the world, with concerts lasting more than 3 hours 15 minutes and around 45 songs.
