GetYourGuide, an app that offers original tourist experiences, has chosen Toulouse to launch its activity in France. The twenty winners of a competition will visit the city following a route created by Bigflo and Oli and then meet them at the end of the afternoon.
“We often take a long time to think about partnerships before accepting them,” says Oli, a Toulouse rap singer and duo with his brother Bigflo. “But with GetYourGuide’s proposal, it was quick,” he says. “It’s cool to show people the city you love.” The app offers off-the-beaten-track tourist experiences. “For the launch of the trips to France, we looked for artists who represent their city,” explains Xavier Tardy, the company’s brand director. “Bigflo and Oli stood out,” he continues.

The Toulouse tour route was designed by the two brothers. “When I bring friends from Paris, I always do the same tour, and this is the one,” says Bigflo. The tour begins at Place du Capitole. It is the most emblematic place in Toulouse, as the historical guide specifies, but also where “we like to walk at night and have crepes on Sundays,” says Yanis, alias @thewingzer. The Toulouse content creator, a friend of the artists, provides the “anecdotal” part of the tour, telling visitors about their first high school dreams or evenings on the quays.
“We owe a lot to Toulouse, it has been our artistic cocoon. Our music would have been very different if we had gone directly to Paris. We draw our inspiration from our Toulouse surroundings, which have remained the same since the beginning, confides Oli. So we pass the buck We start with it when we set up new projects, like this visit.
The visit will be accessible to the twenty winners of the competition which will last from July 2 to August 18 on the GetYourGuide website. The first will take place on August 30, the second at the end of the year.
