On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of EuroMillions, one hundred European players will each win the sum of one million euros.
An exceptional print. For the 20th anniversary of EuroMillions, Française des Jeux (FDJ) and its European partners will allow 100 players to each win the sum of one million euros this Friday, November 22.
Each person who buys a grid (for 2.50 euros) will be assigned a code. Friday evening, 100 codes will be drawn randomly in the ten participating countries (France, United Kingdom, Portugal, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, etc.).
Prize pool of 189 million euros
At the same time, the usual EuroMillions jackpot remains in play. After 13 consecutive draws without a winner, it reached the amount of 189 million euros. A considerable sum which is however not a record. In 2023, an Austrian obtained the record sum of 240 million euros.
France comes in first place in terms of the number of EuroMillions winners, with 129 jackpots won, tied with the United Kingdom. According to the FDJ, 1,400 players have become millionaires thanks to the five correct numbers since the launch of the lottery in 2004.
The French record is held by a player from French Polynesia who won the jackpot of 220 million euros in 2021.
