The restaurant La Tentation des mets, opened in February 2024 in the city center of Brest, has just won a Gault & Millau toque. The famous culinary guide awarded it the score of 11/20. “The register is simple, but the products are well sourced and the sense of alliances undeniable,” praise the gastronomic critics.
The Temptation of Food also appears in 109, the special issue of Gault & Millau dedicated to “the new guard of French gastronomy”, which appears this Thursday, November 21.
“It’s a reward for the whole teamit’s nice,” confides Alan Lescop, supported by four employees.
“Always do better”
This distinction comes only eight months after opening. “It’s a good start,” admits the thirty-year-old. After working in numerous establishments, the young chef wanted to open his own place. Alan Lescop defends seasonal cuisine, committed to highlighting the local products. And the customers are there. The restaurant, with 36 seats, has been working well from the start.
“The idea is to continue to improve and to always do better,” concludes the chef, demanding.
