WWE removes Carlito’s controversial statement from RAW

Last month, a statement from Carlito during RAW caused controversy. The Judgment Day member said live, “I have to learn Chinese,” right after Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane left the room speaking Japanese.

This remark caused a wave of criticism among fans. We then learned that it was not planned in the script and that it was an improvisation by Carlito. The incident was not well received by many within WWE.

This Wednesday, November 20, WWE uploaded the October 21 episode of RAW on the WWE Network, and some fans noticed that Carlito’s sentence in question had been removed. Instead, the footage shows a zoom in on Adam Pearce accompanied by a moment of silence.

The original version:

A change which confirms that this sentence was not planned and that WWE prefers to forget it.
