The Mahoraise Vannes-Ylang Association — that is its full name, even if there is a tendency to say Vannes-Ylang — was declared on June 3, 2003. It is one of the member associations of the Union of Dom-Tom 56, based at the Kercado neighborhood center. As a result, it also hosts there, and its forty members and supporters meet there every Sunday, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., under the leadership of their president, Ben Saindou.
