Free access to bodybuilding is what the house offers for everyone. If the activity had experienced a drop in its workforce, after Covid, “ we experienced a great recovery in 2023 with more than 40 people registered », rejoices Éliane Lallemand, president of the place. In particular, she notes a widening of the age range of members and an increase in feminization. “ 40% of practitioners are women and our oldest is 82 years old ».
Because here, bodybuilding rhymes with kindness, in a family atmosphere. “ There is no have-you-seen-me, no one looks at the other’s appearance, we come as we are ».
A wide choice of exercises
The ground floor of the Maison pour tous includes a wide selection of machines allowing you to perform a multitude of strength training exercises for the upper or lower body.
Two rooms offer around fifteen devices. Among them, treadmills, rowers, bicycles, dumbbells and many others.
In addition, no anxiety about using the instruments, two volunteers, alternating, are present and can guide beginners, because bodybuilding applies to very broad fields such as staying in shape, gaining strength but above all for pleasure.
Registrations can be made throughout the year. The room is open Mondays and Fridays from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Price: €55 for the year plus membership to the house for everyone from €25. 34, rue du 11 November. Tel: 02 43 35 89 60
