A great European event for quality 4-year-old trotters, the Prix de Picardie (2,850 m. GP) is very open this year. There are indeed many of them who have their say and a choice between them is mainly a matter of impression. We gave a slight preference to Erik Bondo’s student, Edgar Sabawhich was seen to its advantage this summer in very well composed lots. On August 3 in Enghien, during the Prix de Génève (Gr. III), he even allowed himself the luxury of placing himself between the best of the generation, Krack Time Asset et Koctel du Dain. And the previous time, he finished in front Keep Going (Critérium des 4 Ans) and King Opera. Certainly, he has not been seen since but his mentor often presents ready trotters from the outset.
A great opposition
Other competitors capable of aiming for the top spots include Jazzmanwho has just reassured in the Marcel Laurent Prize, Kaporal des Forgesintermittent but worth such a lot on a good day, Kobayashiundoubtedly ready to talk about him again, Everywherenoticed recently, Kaviarissima, unlucky in the UET Grand Prix, or even Every Time Winnerwhich moves up in category.
