Tuesday, Coldplay performed their 3rd and final concert in the space of 4 days at Parc OL. With nearly 165,000 spectators, the British group ended the concert season in Décines. Now it’s time for the Games.

After Taylor Swift et Rammstein, Parc OL once again hosted musical performances. The group Coldplay performed at Décines for three dates: June 22, 23 and 25. For the record, the first performance was slightly disrupted by rain. Nearly 165,000 fans came to fill the pit and the stands of Parc OL. Enough to hope to see one of the three evenings probably make its debut among the biggest crowds when the Decinois venue is in concert mode.

At the same time as Coldplay was saying goodbye to Décines, the evening of June 25 marked the end of the concert season at the stadium.Olympic Lyon. From now on, eyes and construction are turning towards the Olympic Games. Indeed, from July 24, Parc OL will be the scene of 11 matches. Six matches of the women’s competition and five of the men’s tournament will take place in the Rhône.

Moreover, with two group matches for Les Bleues in Lyon, several Fenottes should find their bearings. For the moment, eight Lyonnaises are in Hervé’s pre-list Renard. Thus, a new pitch, which took 13th place last season in Ligue 1, should be installed in the coming days at Parc OL, in order to offer billiards to Olympic footballers.
