After having exploded attendance at cinemas this summer, Deadpool & Wolverine stands out as one of the biggest successes of the MCU. Enough to give ideas in red and black to Marvel: the firm has just announced the imminent return of one of the versions of the superhero that appeared in the film. She will join forces with another vigilante in a comic adventure which promises to be far-fetched.
Kidpool, new Marvel mascot?
From the 12 best variants of Deadpool to the casting of the third part of its franchise, it’s Kidpool that the Maison des Idées has chosen for son one-shot Christmas special. Appeared for the first time in 2010, in the pages of Prelude to Deadpool Corpsthis version is aptly named, since it is none other thana barely out of adolescence version of the loud-mouthed Mercenary. In the comics, she comes straight from Earth-10330, where she is a resident of Charles Xavier’s college (yes), where all the other mutants are also unbearable pre-pubescent young people. On December 25, he and Spider-Boy will return to service for a new duo adventure, written by Christopher Yost (screenwriter of Thor : Ragnarok et Thor: The Dark World) and drawn by Nathan Stockman, Chris Campana and Jed Dougherty.
But what is this about Kidpool & Spider-Boy #1 ?
It’s a historic first meeting : Kidpool, your new favorite foul-mouthed teenager, is going to team up with another recently introduced and very popular character, Spider-Boy. Will the spider teenager be able to stop the murderous schoolboy from cause the return of the Comics Code? It’s unlikely, but Bailey will try!
