Brigitte Macron and her husband, the President of the Republic, are currently in Argentina for a six-day official trip. The goal? “Strengthen cooperation between Argentina and France, in terms of economy, defense and innovation”, writes the president on. After a visit to the Santa Cruz Church (an important place in the fight against the military dictatorship of the time) in Buenos Aires, the presidential couple had other places to go.
Brigitte Macron spent a moment of exchange with the students of the Jean-Mermoz high school, a Franco-Argentinian establishment, this Sunday, November 17. The First Lady was also able to speak with families of victims of the Argentine dictatorship (which lasted from 1976 to 1983) and was able to provide them with her support.
