RIVIERA MAYA – Cirque du Soleil continues its conquest of Latin America: a brand new show entitled LUDO will be launched in November 2025.

The Quebec company made the announcement on Saturday in Riviera Maya, where the show JOYÀ recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. Just like its predecessor, LUDO will be presented in a tourist complex of the Vidanta group, in Nuevo Vallarta on the Mexican west coast.

Like the iconic Oin residence in Las Vegas since 1998, this new show will use water and aquatic performances as a cornerstone.

An avant-garde performance hall with 696 seats was built for the occasion. Just like for JOYÀspectators will be able to enjoy a meal during the performance. In addition, more than 300 shows will be planned per year.

“This custom-built performance hall is a masterpiece of innovation that will allow us to showcase our inexhaustible creativity,” rejoices the executive vice-president of the board of directors of Cirque du Soleil, Daniel Lamarre, in a press release whose Journal obtained copy exclusively.

«LUDO exploits the countless qualities of water, a medium that encapsulates memory, transcends gravity and allows us to create a dynamic and dreamlike experience, adds director Michel Laprise. We are fortunate to invite the public to witness a show that celebrates nature, wonder and art in a new way.”
