Let’s go for the 11th edition of the Fez humor festival. The event which opened on Tuesday evening, plans several artistic shows with the participation of renowned actors and humorists.
For Mohamed Alami, director of the festival, “this 11th melisma has concocted a rich and varied program, combining artistic shows and theatrical pieces, including the humorous show: “Man Zakin” by Mohamed Bassou”. Organized at the initiative of the association of comedians united for culture and the arts, in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, the regional council of Fez-Meknes and the Mohammed V Theater, this festival is being held this year under the theme “Fez smiles”.
The event, which continues until November 15, aims to support and encourage young talents in the fields of humor and cultural entertainment, consolidate the values of initiative and the spirit of citizenship, and disseminate the values of tolerance, fraternity and rejection of violence and broaden the space for constructive dialogue between individuals. Moreover, it is not accidental that this festival is supported by the Fez-Meknes Regional Council. “Our Council continues its partnerships with festival organizing associations, and contributes to the various stages of preparation and organization of these major events, while adopting a balanced spatial distribution at the organizational level” notes Khadija Adria, vice-president of the Fez-Meknes regional council responsible for cultural and sporting affairs. According to her, the objective is to provide the Fez-Meknes region with a diversified cultural agenda contributing to its territorial and national marketing.
Through this type of partnership, the Region works to promote art, as well as the influence of cultural and creative industries.
