It's an important day for the British royal family. This Thursday, November 14, King Charles III celebrates his 76th birthday. Born in 1948 at Buckingham Palace, the son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip waited 70 years before ascending the throne. It was finally crowned in May 2023.
Like every year, the one who shares his birthday with other celebrities, was celebrated on social networks. The official account of the royal family has thus revealed a portrait of Camilla's husband in a blue suit. “We wish His Majesty the King a very happy birthday” we can read in the description.

Kate and William publish a quirky photo of the monarch
As usual, Prince William and Kate Middleton also celebrated Charles III's birthday. On Instagram, however, the couple abandoned formal portraits to reveal
a more unusual photo of the sovereign. Indeed, this is a photo captured during his trip to the Samoa Islands on October 25.
Charles III thus appears smiling, with a flower necklace around the neck and sunglasses on his nose. A quirky photo that highlights the king's joie de vivre. To accompany the publication, George's parents, Charlotte and Louis wrote: “A very happy birthday to His Majesty the King”.
King Charles III continues his fight against cancer
King Charles III's birthday marks a happy event within the royal family. Indeed, this year was particularly trying since it was marked by
his cancer diagnosis and that of Kate Middleton.
At the beginning of February, Camilla's husband thus
announced his cancer to the British people. Since then, he has insisted on resuming his commitments and even made a trip to Australia and the Samoa Islands. His battle against illness is not over, however, as he continues treatment. The king seems “invigorated” since his return and the arrival of the Christmas holidays could now mark a happy moment for him and all his loved ones.
