After several years of promoting Senegal and Africa on the international scene, Youssou N’Dour is back with a new album and an exceptional concert at the Olympia. Nicknamed the “King of Mbalax”, the 65-year-old Senegalese star promises a performance with wild rhythms. Accompanied by his orchestra, the Super Étoile de Dakar, he will set the stage on fire on Saturday April 19, 2025. And for those who want to hear the new titles, Light up the world will be released on Friday February 21, 2025.

An artist and a committed ex-minister

Beyond music, Youssou N’Dour is a man of commitment. Minister of Culture then Tourism, in 2012 and 2013 under the presidency of Macky SAll and leader of the Fekke ma ci boole movement, he played a role in the political life of his country. But for the Olympia, it is the artist and the showman who returns!

Prestigious international collaborations

Youssou N’Dour doesn’t stop there! He has shared the stage with legends like Koffi Olomidé, Akon, and Burna Boy, proving once again that his music has no boundaries. His mbalax rhythms, combining traditional sounds and modernity, appeal beyond continents.
