The voice of Zoé Saldana in The Allegation (the allegation to power, to violence) immerses us in the blood-red musical universe of the film Emilia Perez. This soundtrack required four intense years of work from the singer Camille and her companion, the arranger and producer Clément Ducol.
The two artists were involved from the start in the tortuous creative process of Jacques Audiard who especially did not want a series of musical sequences, the songs therefore took charge of the narration, weaving the framework of this musical thriller. The soundtrack holds nothing back, and looks to rock like mariachi or reggaeton, the essential sound of this part of the globe, with angry slams and heartbreaking laments.

Camille wrote the songs in Spanish, providing backing vocals, refining the Mexican accents, sometimes with the help of AI to fix the vocal placements.
