Beyoncé is officially the most nominated artist in Grammy history

Since Friday, November 8, Beyoncé has held the record for the most nominated artist at the Grammy Awards.

Beyoncé already held a Grammy-related record. In 2023, she became the most awarded artist in the history of the ceremony with 32 small golden gramophones to her credit. However, without ever receiving the album of the year award – the most prestigious distinction –, which was strongly criticized by her husband Jay-Z.

This year, after the announcement of the nominees for the 67th Grammys ceremony on November 8, the pop icon has once again proven her immense impact on the music industry. She is now the most nominated artist in the history of the Recording Academy awards show. Throughout her career, she has garnered a total of 99 nominations. Before, she had 88, tied with Jay-Z.

The tidal wave Cowboy Carter

For the 2024 edition of the Grammy Awards, Beyoncé inherited 11 nominations for her latest album Cowboy Carter. The album was notably nominated in the album of the year and best country album categories.

As for the single Texas Hold’Emhe will fight for the Record of the Year and Song of the Year awards. Then who knows, maybe Beyoncé will finally get her revenge on the most prestigious prize of the ceremony? To be continued.
