This Sunday, November 10, 2024, the show Sept à Huit revealed
a report on Pierre Palmade and his drug use. Indeed, the comedian who was involved in a tragic car accident, which occurred more than a year ago, has been addicted to cocaine for many years.
For the report, his friends or former producers agreed to confide, like Claude Fournier, former producer of Pierre Palmade : “It was the restaurant, it was the nightclub, the afterparty. We sleep well in the morning, we get up at 2 p.m. (…) we will be on time at 8 p.m.”he remembers. Indeed, Pierre Palmade was well known for loving to party.
Pierre Palmade's friends break the silence
Pascal Guillaume, friend and producer of the actor, returned to the beginnings of his drug consumption :
“He started using cocaine, it was another artist who introduced him to it, initially occasionally, and it will become less and less occasional but he manages to manage his consumption. For a very long time, he will know when to take it, when to stop.”he believes.
But over time, the addiction was too strong.
“Then gradually, he will take more and more”. An observation shared by François Rollin, friend of Pierre Palmade: “For a long time, he was a party user, and at some point he got caught up in this thing, it's called addiction. Of course, I saw it evolve, and it was all the more painful because it was felt in the work,” confides this person close to the comedian.
“The first crises…”
Pascal Guillaume was able to observe the same thing: “There are times when we can no longer play. There is the whole period where we save the dates. The first few minutes of the show are difficult, but afterward he does well. And there are evenings when he doesn't come or he's in such a state that he can't play. The first crises are quite simple to manage.”
But over time, he will realize that Pierre Palmade can obtain drugs at any time, simply by using his cell phone. This is where the descent into hell began. Very hard confidences for the actor's entourage who could only observe
Pierre Palmade's terrible addiction, which grew worse day by day.
