The brand new Fossat cultural association (ACF) is offering a major show this Friday, November 15 in the multimedia room with Alex Lekouid and Julie Gallian, an explosive duo in substance as well as in form(s) and endowed with a good dose of humor to enter the cold weather of winter with complete peace of mind.
Alex Lekouid, who has performed notably at the Lido, the Casino de Paris and the Olympia, has been touring the depths of the French provinces for over 20 years. “He is a singer-actor with a big heart, full of communicative positive energy,” underlines Gilles Chaumar, founding president of the association, municipal councilor and long-time friend of the singer. “He spent years at Don Camillo, played numerous opening acts in most of the legendary Parisian venues but also on television in France and abroad.”
Julie Gallian, former chorister of the René Coll orchestra, has a fighting temperament, an elegant appearance and a fascinating voice. She sang with the biggest stars in the show Sacrée Soirée hosted by Jean-Pierre Foucault and performed on a number of stages.
“It’s an exceptional duo of professionalism,” says Gilles Chaumar, alias Larsen, who spent his time in the entertainment world when he was a radio presenter. The tandem is perfectly tuned, combining humor, dance, tap dancing, singing and imitations to soul and blues rhythms. “Both pay homage to the great singers of soul and blues, in a repertoire ranging from Claude Nougaro to Ray Charles. You will not be disappointed, insists Gilles Chaumar, we never get bored for a second and of course we laugh a lot .”
