With her Sauge restaurant, Amandine Chaignot is one of the attractions of this early autumn in Perche.
In Réveillon (Orne), the chef took over the former Jazz Café to turn it into a restaurant in two parts, both bistro and fine dining.
After having already received Hervé Morin at his table just before the official opening, this time it was a great chef who came to pay him a courtesy visit this Sunday, November 10, 2024: Pierre Gagnaire.
The chef is not just anyone: triple Michelin-starred and voted the greatest starred chef in the world by his peers in 2015, he is as talented as he is known to be accessible.
A perch lover
The Sauge restaurant team did not fail to take a photo with this living legend of French cuisine.
A few weeks ago, for example, he had lunch at Pieds dans l’eau at Saint-Langis-Lès-Mortagnewith chef Gasaprd Noury and his wife Méline Viera.
Pierre Gagnaire is very attached to Perche, where it is not rare to come across him. In 2007, he notably chaired the competition for Best black pudding at the Boudin Fair.
