The 47th edition of the Montreal Book Fair

The 47e edition of the Montreal Book Fair which ends Sunday at the Palais des congrès is under the theme of space-time. Olivier Gougeon, general director of the Montreal Book Fair, explains that the book is a real journey through space and time.

Charles Cusson, DG Messaging ADP, Lyne Robitaille, Senior Vice-President, Newspapers, and Magazines – Quebecor as well as President and Publisher of Montreal Journal and Judith Landry, Managing Director, Book Sector – Quebecor, are with Olivier Gougeon, Managing Director of the Montreal Book Fair.

Abenaki from the Odanak community, the chef, Lysanne O’Bomsawin, reveals to us the ancestral techniques for preparing bannock, leached corn, sagamité and fruit paste, or for smoking wild meats and fish in her book Indigenous cuisine published by Éditions de l’Homme.


In the background we see the author and publisher Marc G. Alain, of the Modus Group, which includes three publishing houses including Presses Aventure, and the author Alex A. who are in the company of several young admirers of Alex A.


Alexa Asselin, Literary Director at Éditions Fonfon, is with Charles-Antoine Leduc, Louis Philippe Leduc and their father, François Leduc.
