Tom Cruise is a role model for all stunt fans. Indeed, the American actor performs most of his stunts, even the most dangerous, despite his advanced age. Enough to give some ideas. Indeed, Camille Lou visibly wanted to perform her own stunts for the filming of Cat’s Eyesthe new series of TF1.
This new show arrives this Monday, November 11, 2024 on the front page. A few months before the launch of this new series, the 32-year-old actress told our colleagues at Télé-Loisirs that she had suffered a serious injury on set due to a stunt.
Camille Lou is injured on the set of “Cat’s Eyes”
“I want to do as many things as possible,” she confided to our colleagues before specifying: “I could have broken my teeth but luckily I was well prepared.”. Indeed, Camille Lou and the other actresses were entitled to significant preparation in the company of Team Cauderlier, who worked on Asterix and Obelix: The Middle Kingdom by Guillaume Canet.
“We taught them abseiling techniques”first indicated Alexandre Cauderlier, adjuster of physical stunts, in charge of security as relayed by our colleagues from Télé-Loisirs. Before adding: “They also know how to tie knots, run, jump, roll and even fight. We try to put them into action as much as possible.”
More fear than harm
For her part, Camille Lou gave some details about her fall and how she almost hurt herself badly. “Before filming, we were taught how to catch ourselves in the event of a fall. Today, it was useful to me. I suffered a war wound. It’s the job that comes in”she recalled first before continuing: “I want to do as many things as possible. I went too far. I had a small fall on a roof and landed”.
When she fell, the 32-year-old actress almost broke her teeth, “but the stunt lessons made her have the reflex to do a roll on a roof.” “It made no sense, it was a reflex. I didn't have time to say phew that I had someone welcoming me. It's still crazy!”added the actress that we will be able to find this evening on TF1.
