Meet in Montauban for the Music FestivalFriday June 21: the City of Tarn-et-Garonne has just revealed the program.

National Square

  • Royal Swing – Jazz / From 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
    With infectious energy and good humor, Royal Swing performs the great standards of jazz, swing, gypsy jazz and bossa nova from the 20s to the 60s, from Django Reinhardt to Ella Fitzgerald.
  • Le Petit Orléans – Jazz New Orleans / From 9:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
    Le Petit Orléans offers contrasting and warm music, with the rhythms of New Orleans and the sunny sounds of the Caribbean: traditional jazz and biguine.

Roosevelt Square

  • Amareïa – Bossa nova / From 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
    The quartet explores the greatest standards of bossa nova and Latin music, with
    texts sometimes translated into French, to offer the public a sunny and melancholic escape across the Atlantic.
  • La Loca Salsa – Salsa / From 9:30 p.m. to midnight
    Gathered around Mexican singer Gerardo Gutierrez, 7 musicians revisit the repertoire
    Latin American and more particularly salsa, from Cali to New York. La Loca Salsa is the
    promise of radiant dance music with boundless energy.

Place Penelope

  • Dale Cooper – House / From 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and from 11:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.
    A Dale Cooper set is the promise of a stylish journey through the world of house,
    from Chicago, Detroit and New York to Paris, Tokyo or London.
  • Access Crew – Disco Funk / From 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
    Access Crew is a crew whose mission is to rescue the Disco Planet, in the midst of a groove shortage. Its members draw inspiration from a multitude of styles ranging from disco-house to progressive rock.
  • Yeah – Soul Electro Pop / From 10:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
    Winner of the Springboard stage of the Montauban en stages festival 2023, Yeah is the project
    musical by Pierre Consolle and Benoît Rigoni. The hand-sewn pieces from Benoît’s loops and Pierre’s words find a beautiful setting in structures with delicate construction and a light groove.

Esplanade des Fontaines

  • Conservatory Concert / At 6:15 p.m.
    The Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatory’s scheduled classes performs to the great pleasure of the public.

  • Memo – Media Library
    Beast meetings – Musical show from 5 years old / At 5 p.m.
    To share with the family, a sonorous and inventive tale where theater and dance mingle with music. The sound tree, an essential element of the decor, carries around ten instruments that the musician picks up throughout the show.
  • Carmelite Temple
    Conservatory Concert / At 7 p.m.
    The recorder and organ classes of the Conservatory perform to offer the public
    a selected repertoire of classical music.

On June 21, all styles of music swarm in the city of Ingres. Find in particular The Conspiracy (square Picquart, the musical groups of the Africa festival in Grand Montauban (place Lalaque), The Occitan awakening 82 (cours Foucault), as well as numerous groups along the streets of the city center: Les notes bleues, Asterways, Sofame, DJ Johnny Mendes, PMG Trio, Nuances Danse School / Deejay Dikay, Bakuruba, Los Rabos, Les jardins Bora lá , Iciben, BOB, From here and elsewhere, René Garet, Tralala…

Finally, Friday June 21, the city of Ingres also meets at the botanical garden to
the Montauban festival on stage.
