Created a dozen years ago by the Foyer rural de Cunèges, the Arts in the village event is organized every two years in the village hall and the vaulted room of the old presbytery. The next edition, scheduled for Saturday June 22 and Sunday June 23, will mainly bring together artists from Cunèges.

Many local artists will be present: Évelyne Roux with her vision of acrylic red; Nicole Veeckmans and her luminous watercolors; Samuel Roux and his traditional basketwork; Jacky Hamilton, designer of ceremonial jewelry; André Bonhomme, a marble sculptor with color; Marie Tailford and her sculptures on childhood; Marine Tassou, the youngest of the artists, will present pastels and charcoals of surprising hyperrealism which evoke motherhood across cultures; Maryse Grenier and her crochet dolls and finally Magali Putz, inspired by nature.

“For some, the Arts in the village is a breath of fresh air, for others, a look, encounters, a collection of elements that we transform and magnify and which inspire everyone,” explains André Bonhomme .

Practical. Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (opening Saturday at 6 p.m.). FREE ENTRANCE.
