It was in an interview given to our colleagues from “Nous deux” that the actress was invited to speak about the #MeToo movement and sexual assault against women in the cinema industry.

“I am extremely admiring that actresses are speaking today. I found that Judith Godrèche had extreme courage,” confides the interpreter of Chief Warrant Officer Isabelle Florent of “A Woman of Honor”.

She denounces a toxic and horrible climate to live in: “In the 1980s, we were subject to macho diktats. When I arrived in Paris, at 21, we were prey, often terrorized, under siege,” she explains. Finally, the 64-year-old actress and producer admits to being a victim herself: “Yes, I was attacked, I was harassed, I was cornered in corridors”. She had already furtively spoken about it to Télé Stars magazine a few days ago, “I was introverted, chubby, uncomfortable in my skin. Everything you can imagine that could happen has happened. I was cornered, I refused work offers when I was asked for favors in return… It was an era which, I hope, is over,” she said.

Corinne Touzet is added to the long list of women victims of sexual violence in the audiovisual, television and cinema sectors. She still wants to highlight the current climate, which is much healthier than in the past. “The most important thing is that it is no longer possible,” she concludes.
