Cantabell’île is the name of the choir created in 2018 by Christine Greneau. She conducted it for two concerts given successfully on July 3, 2019 and March 17, 2023.

Its direction is now ensured by Éric Pasquier, choir director and musician, assisted by his wife Michèle, who prepares the choristers for singing and supervises the ensemble in its outfit and performances. The stakes of this first concert, scheduled for Saturday November 16, are therefore of a certain importance. “His program consists of songs from French heritage, for which I have arranged and harmonized,” said Éric Pasquier.

The band has just welcomed new singers, which has made the average age of the ensemble a little younger. The choir, which is now made up of twenty singers, seven sopranos, seven altos and six men, will perform seventeen contemporary or older songs…

The choristers are subject to a well-ordered rhythm of rehearsals: every Thursday, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and one or two Saturdays per month, from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturday November 16, at 8:30 p.m., at the Arletty cultural space. Price: €10, free for children under 12.
