A tribute evening entitled “Delon, the last Samurai”, in which his sons Anthony and Alain-Fabien took part, as well as several artist friends of the actor, who died almost three months ago.
Anthony arrived at the Palais des Congrès in good company, since his daughters Loup and Liv (28 and 23 years old) were present. Their mother, Sophie Clerico, who has remained close to Anthony Delon since their separation in 2012, also made the trip.

For his part, Alain-Fabien was greeted by a swarm of spectators when he arrived in the room. It must be said that the 30-year-old young man did not go unnoticed with his father’s Borsalino on his head. In a gray suit and black coat, he finished disturbing fans with his resemblance to his famous dad. After signing a number of autographs and posing for dozens of selfies, Alain-Fabien found his partner, the model Laura Bensadoun, to take a place near the stage, a few rows from his elder Anthony installed just behind.

Before the 80 musicians gathered on stage took up their instruments, the evening was introduced by Véronique de Villèle, close friend of Alain Delon. “I’m not going to tell you what a great actor he was, because everyone knows that, or that he was the most handsome man in the world, because we know that too […]. He was an upright, honest, loyal man, who hated those who did not keep their word or changed their minds. He was faithful, he had the cult of friendship,” first recalled the 77-year-old host.
The former co-presenter of “Gym Tonic” then recounted how she had mobilized Alain Delon to support the Alzheimer Research Foundation when it was created in 2004. “He was its honorary president for 20 years and he never once failed,” she recalled. A foundation which was in the spotlight on Friday evening since the proceeds from this film concert will be donated to it. Véronique de Villèle greeted the producers Thierry Chabrot and Norbert Saada, before giving way to the show.

The public was able to immerse themselves, in music, in the filmography of Alain Delon: the orchestra accompanied extracts from the films “Plein Soleil”, “La Piscine”, “Zorro”, “Borsalino”, “M. Klein » or even “Is Paris burning? » projected on the big screen. Daniel Guichard also offered a great moment of emotion by performing on stage the song “My old man”, which Alain Delon loved so much.
Anouchka Delon, the big absentee of the evening
“It was a very beautiful evening, it was very moving,” confides Anthony Delon after the concert. “It was an evening for his audience, which was the most important to him. This audience was there this evening en masse, and I think they were like all of us, very moved. People were there with their hearts. » Shortly before the concert, Anthony had marked this first sad anniversary without his father on his social networks, by sharing an intimate video. “I don’t realize he’s gone.” It’s his birthday tonight, but it’s all a bit surreal. Since this morning I’ve been thinking about it, my family, my children, we’re all thinking about it. We lit a small candle. »
The emotion was also palpable on the part of his younger brother Alain-Fabien, who also praised this “very beautiful evening, which helped him get through this first anniversary. “I cried several times, notably when hearing the song by Daniel Guichard. It was an evening worthy of my father, of the work he accomplished over all these years, of his love for cinema. He was also for this project, before his death.
The only thing he deplored was the absence of his sister Anouchka Delon. “It would have been better if we had all come together for this tribute to our father and to support Alzheimer’s research. It would have been nice for her to be there, especially since it’s Dad’s birthday. » If they were united to say goodbye to their father last summer, the fraternal conflict between Anthony, Anouchka and Alain-Fabien is unfortunately still relevant.
