She was recognizable by her radiant smile and her happy teeth. Since Friday, November 8, the modeling world has been mourning the loss of Georgina Cooper, 46, a famous British model from the 1990s. Her death was confirmed on social networks by her friends, the models Erin O'Connor and Jade Parfitt. According to information from Daily Mail she died of a cerebral hemorrhage following a long Covid.

According to the tabloid, Georgina Cooper, who was on vacation on the island of Kos, Greece, was rushed to hospital in Crete and put in intensive care. She died at the scene five days later, before her body was returned to England. “Georgina was not in good health during Covid. She had developed health problems and had been hospitalized numerous times,” explained her agent Dean Goodman. And continues: “But she had plans for the future. She had just gotten married and was looking forward to her life. Everyone is devastated. He was a true superstar. » Georgina Cooper had in fact married her partner Nigel. She was the mother of a son, Sonny, from a previous union.

The model experienced a great rise in the 1990s, after signing with the Premier Model Management agency, which notably included Naomi Campbell. Georgina Cooper had collaborated with major designers, including Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney, and with major brands including Gucci and Burberry.
