Nevermore will forever remain a special moment for Mylène Farmer. This is the largest stadium tour ever offered by an artist in . It attracted 700,000 spectators. But everything didn’t go as planned. First there was the war in Ukraine which forced the singer to give up her dates in Russia. However, as we know, the flamboyant redhead has a more than substantial fan base in Eastern countries. Screenings of the film also took place in Ukraine, in particular.

A budget of 4,000 euros and up to a month of camping in front of the stadium: nothing stops Mylène Farmer fans who want to be as close as possible to her

Then, there was the postponement of the two concerts at the Stade de France due to the riots then raging in France following the death of a young man killed by police officers. Consequence: the two dates had to be moved after the Games. Enough to seriously threaten the profitability of the tour, because Mylène Farmer had not skimped on means.

It was in fact an XXL production that she had produced, as demonstrated by the screening on Thursday evening. A gigantic setting, with an enormous raven and an even larger monk. Equally immense giant screens, with absolutely magnificent projections. This is exactly what we find in the film, even if the latter are less impressive because we see them too infrequently. No matter, the film directed by François Hanss delivers details that were not observable live, all accompanied by dynamic editing and excellent sound. Looking forward to the release on DVD and Blu-ray. There is no date announced yet but the rumor is November 29…
