In 2023, 20,000 people followed the protests. No fewer than 40 shows are scheduled this summer in this unique venue.

The son of Bob Marley and Dan ar Braz

Elena and Martin have been working on the programming since October 2023 by meeting with show promoters.

For the 3 th season to Plestinthe objective was to offer an eclectic program with six different styles of music and to discover what is out of the ordinary.

“We have great headliners like Julian Marley (son of Bob Marley) on July 18, Dan ar Braz (August 31), the Wampas (July 26), Sanseverino (August 3), Acid Arab (August 23) and Neg Marrons (August 10).”

A capacity of 700 places

In 5 days already 500 tickets sold on the 6 paying concerts, with a maximum capacity of 700 people. In the concerts at the top for the moment, we find Dan ar Braz and Wampas. Without forgetting for these paid concerts, opening acts with local artists to discover or rediscover.

The team also offers 2 stand-up evenings with Alexis Rossignol and Bliz Stand Up. For small concerts (around 80% of the programming), a small temporary permanent stage stands in the courtyard.

On August 14, all tickets to the concert will be donated to the Vamos Magali association which raises awareness of disability (payment on site)

A banquet for 300 guests

“Our wish is that each event offered remains family-friendly, festive, for an intergenerational audience.”

Compared to the 2023 evaluation, some changes such as the “discovery day” with games on August 11 which brings together all the workshops (10 to 20 stands under the barn). The farmer’s market every Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a single fruit and vegetable market gardener: Yvon Cabioch.

Culinary innovations

Culinary innovations which for the moment remain secret. Other weekly events are maintained such as the knitting aperitif on Friday at 6 p.m., the evening mussels and fries on Wednesday and brunch on Sunday. With a view to social cohesion, a single table banquet for 300 people with a grilled pig will take place on August 7.

85% free concerts

“The objective is to reduce waiting times. This year, the team will number 12 with 1 person in communications.”

Prices remain the same with 85% of concerts free. Concerning the barn, the sound work on the back of the stage and the floor should improve the sound quality. Also installing more lighting equipment.
