PETRETO-BICCHISANO – Conference on Corsican bandits

The tour guide, Gérard Papi, will give a conference on the legendary Corsican bandits on Saturday November 9 at 2 p.m. at the media library. It will firstly deal with the vendetta in Corsica: its origins, its causes, its codes. Then it will retrace the lives of some notorious bandits from the 19th century until the interwar period of the 20th century, drawing parallels between honor bandits and brigands.
