And event documentary will be broadcast this Thursday, November 7, 2024 on television. At 9 p.m., France 2 will focus on a case that moved the country in 2023: Lindsay’s suicide which occurred in Vendin-le-Vieil, in Pas-de-Calais. The young schoolgirl killed herself after being bullied at school.
The documentary broadcast this Thursday evening at 9 p.m.
The documentary, entitled “Lindsay, the mechanics of harassment”, will recall the facts of this dramatic affair and how such a cheerful schoolgirl was able to end her life. Lindsay committed suicide on May 12, 2023, a large gathering in tribute to the teenager took place on May 15, 2024, a year later, at Bracke-Desrousseaux college.
Here is the synopsis: “Lindsay, a 13-year-old schoolgirl who was a victim of harassment, killed herself in May 2023 in Pas-de-Calais. How in one school year could this happy and popular young girl commit suicide? Who could have stopped the infernal mechanism of harassment at school and on social networks? In an attempt to answer these questions, Félix Seger looks back on the last months of Lindsay’s life, alongside those close to him. At the same time, it gives a voice to those who have decided to alert and move the lines against this scourge. »
