The decision has been made. One of the LCI collaborators permanently left the company. Indeed, Anne Seften which presented the “Club Seften” from Monday to Thursday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. will no longer appear on air. She was licensed by the TF1 group. A hasty departure which follows a “internal procedure started a few weeks ago“. Procedure initiated following the evening of the 30th anniversary of the news channel of the TF1 group which took place on last September 19.
That evening, according to comments collected by Clément Garin, Cyril Hanouna's former columnist, the journalist would have “slapped, under the influence of alcohol“its editor-in-chief of channel 26 amid a private dispute. An anonymous internal source specifies: “Everything was going well when we heard screams. Anne screamed at Nicolas (Sengers, ndlr)slapped him and security took them out“.
So LCI has decided to part ways with Anne Sfeten who officiated on the channel since August 2021. His last appearance at the head of “Club Seften” dates back to Thursday October 24. Last week, she was replaced by Thomas Misrachi at the head of the afternoon section. Since then, October 4, it has been Bénédicte Le Chatelier who took over. We do not know, at this stage, who will definitively take the reins of this section.
Anne Seften: before LCI her move to other channels
Following this altercation, the investigation should precisely determine the reasons why Anne Seften came to blows against its editor. In any case, according to information from our colleagues at Figaro, an investigation is reportedly underway for harassment against Nicolas Sengers.
Arrival in summer 2021 on the air of LCI, Anne Seften has worked in other editorial offices in the past. Indeed, the pretty blonde passed by BFMTV, Europe 1, L’Express and France 3. At this stage, the main person involved in this affair has not spoken. On his account Instagramit is still indicated that she works for LCI. An account where she is not most active for eleven weeks and where she regularly shared both personal and professional photos.
