Sunday October 13, the association 1488 held its general meeting, in Saint-Aubin-du-Cormier, near Fougères (Ille-et-Vilaine).

Member of the French Festival Federation and Historical Shows (FFFSH), it organizes manifestations around the history of the battle of Saint-Aubin-du-Cormier, which took place on July 28, 1488.

The association counts 137 members and operates with a board of directors of 18 members, supported by 12 working committees. “In 2023, we obtained the Quality label of the FFFSH”, rejoices President Marc Lemancel, who also welcomes the number of animations organized. These are accompanied by rmedieval stepswhich generate revenue. The medieval events of July 6 and 7, 2024 also had a success which remains anchored in memories.
