At the end of October 2024, the waterproofing repair site at the Rophémel dam, in Côtes-d'Armor, was completely flooded after a flood. This causes a setback in the schedule: the filling of the reservoir is no longer planned for the beginning of November but for mid-December.

Started at the beginning of April, the phase of lowering the Rophémel dam has been completed since the beginning of May, revealing in its entirety the infrastructure 125 m long and 25 m high, owned by the Eau du bassin Rennais community, between Guenroc and Plouasne, in Côtes-d'Armor. It is from this water reservoir that almost 30% of the drinking water for the 530,000 inhabitants of the Rennes basin comes.
