And storage and order preparation warehouse of Ikea should see the light of day, in place of a former parking lot of the Gefco company, on the port of Limay/Porcheville (Yvelines), at the beginning of 2027.
Around 350 initial jobs will be filled there, to reach the 500 employees at cruising speedand this to the great pleasure of the two mayors concerned, Alec Jaltier in Porcheville and Djamel Nedjar in Limay.
To answer “all the questions”
This Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 7 p.m.the Porcheville village hall will be the scene of a meeting between the public and the spokespersons of the Swedish company and the port manager, Haropa Port, allowing “all questions” to be answered, according to the announcement made by the Porcheville town hall.
Environmental authorization granted
The project has already passed thepublic inquiry stagein spring. Haropa Port announced in the summer of 2024 that the environmental authorization necessary for the establishment had been granted by the prefecture. All that now remains is to build the 61,570 m² structure.
