Pierre Garnier, the winner of the previous edition of the Star Academy emerged victorious from NRJ Awards . This Friday, November 1, he was rewarded in two categories: French-speaking Revelation of the year and Song of the year thanks to the hit Those we were. Also competing in this category were Amir, Slimane, Louane and Santa. The latter arrived in front of the Palais des Festivals in on a zip line to perform her song Start me againalso anthem of season 12 of the Star Academy in a gladiator outfit.

Despite his efforts and his performance, viewers preferred to reward Pierre Garnier, to the great disappointment of Santa, also beaten by Vitaa in the category of French-speaking female artist of the year. For the singer, the double defeat seems difficult to digest, as shown by her message posted this weekend on social networks. “I wanted to send you a little memo to thank you for mobilizing so much for the NMA”thanked Santa on his Instagram channel, and added: “We tell ourselves, we’re a little disgusted, but we’re going to continue hacking. When the system doesn’t want us, we hack, we circumvent it”.

Santa rejoices in another victory
