A Harley Davidson that belonged to the singer will be auctioned on November 9 in Lyon by an owner from Chauffry.
It’s a Harley Davidson, Springer model, like no other. Mickson, a resident of Chauffry in Seine-et-Marne, will reluctantly part with a motorcycle that belonged to Johnny Hallyday. He bought it from a private individual in 2014.
“It was quite an opportunity. There wasn’t much on this bike, either in books or in photos. It sat dormant for a good twenty years,” explains the biker, who sanded to find “this little grain of the time”.
Imported from the United States in the 1980s, the bike is completely revised and is estimated between 25,000 and 40,000 euros. Mickson therefore hopes to get a good price for it during an auction organized in Lyon on November 9.

His goal is to finance his retirement with the money collected, even if it hurts his heart a little.
“When I’m with my friends, people stop and say to me: ‘Wow, she’s so beautiful’. Nobody believes me when I say that she was Johnny Hallyday’s,” says -he.
The famous singer bought it in 1982 from Jean Basslin, who displayed it in his store at the time.
“One evening, his artistic director, Pierre Billon, called me and told me that his motorcycle had been stolen. Johnny had appointments the next day and wanted to go with it, so he absolutely needed another one I replied: ‘listen, I know he fell for one from the store, I can bring it to him'”, details the man who was only an acquaintance at the time.
After this sale, Jean Basslin finally became the star’s assistant. The motorcycle, for its part, has already lived a thousand lives with the rocker, who notably used it during the filming of the music video for “Diego libre dans sa tête”.
