Independent photographer, Marion Cano36 years old, worked for 13 years in Seine-Maritime before moving to Saint-Fraimbault (Orne). She specializes in portraits family, beauty and marriage.

A new beginning

Holder of a CAP and a professional baccalaureate in photography, Marion offers her services to individuals and professionals.

With me, there is no studio photo. I appreciate authenticity. I prefer to meet in the great outdoors to create a pleasant setting and enrich the session or with people for a cocooning atmosphere. I like to stage subjects in order to offer them a bubble of escape far from everyday life. I let the children play so that the photos reflect their personality.

“I found the flame again”

In parallel with her activity, Marion carries out artistic photographs. “After all these years dedicated to photography, I thought the inspiration was gone. I had to move to find the flame again, she confides.

My vision of landscape photography is very romantic, inspired by the movements of the 17th and 18th centuries, seeking to capture the melancholy of a character in a contemplative or dramatic way, in the manner of Géricault.

A different look at the bocage

It shows a different view of the bocage within a radius of around fifty kilometers around Saint-Fraimbault, highlighting rocky landscapes, ruins of castles, and panoramas enhanced by colorful retouching to create a pictorial effect.

The region has a Gothic and medieval dimension and that’s what I want to exploit.

Search for extras and exhibition locations

For her projects, Marion needs extras. “They will be costumed as peasants or aristocrats to bring my artistic vision to life.” She is also looking for exhibition spaces “to establish exchanges, communicate emotions and touch the inhabitants of the region”.
