The Nègrepelisse festival committee hit it big again this year by organizing a bewitching Halloween evening in the mysterious setting of the town’s castle. This Friday, November 1st, young and old experienced a night of terror and rejoicing, in an atmosphere that promised to be memorable.
The castle, transformed for the occasion into a haunted house, welcomed its visitors into a dark setting where shadows and the play of light brought the most terrifying stories to life. Themed trails were planned for each age, offering a great alternative for families: a candy hunt in the courtyard for the youngest, while the more daring dared to venture into the dark, enigmatic rooms of the castle, where witches , ghosts and other creatures of the night awaited the brave.
To begin this bewitching evening, at 7 p.m., all the little monsters met on the Place Nationale for a torchlight procession through the streets of the city, like a Halloween stroll. Then, they returned to the castle for an evening of horror. Many surprises awaited the participants in the enclosure transformed for the occasion. If sensitive souls preferred to abstain, the children were the first to have fun and be frightened.
The festival committee thanks all the residents who worked to make this event a moment of sharing and conviviality.
