It’s difficult to fit an entire season into a few lines, especially when it comes to that of the cultural agency Scènes et Cinés. We are still talking about 118 shows (almost a third of which are intended for young audiences) for 224 performances spread across the stages of Istres, Miramas, Fos-sur-Mer, Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône, Grans and Cornillon. -Confused!
Theater represents a large part of this abundant programming, which also gives pride of place to creation, all disciplines combined. On the theater side therefore, we can count on quite a few literary classics: in The First Man, Robin Renucci, also director of the Criée, in Marseille, dives into the unfinished work of Camus; Muriel Mayette-Holtz revisits the Scapin’s deceptions in an abandoned gas station; as for the company Le festin des idiots, it chooses efficiency by treating Romeo and Juliet, Don Juan And Medea in ten minutes watch in hand…
From reality to humor
But we are not limited to literary monuments already engraved in stone. In Passport, Alexis Michalik tells the story of Issa, a young Eritrean who has lost his memory: only his passport connects him to his past. Exile, again, with 4,211 km, by Aïla Navidi.
