On the American site Rotten Tomatoes, the film received 91% positive reviews. The feature film also received numerous nominations and awards during the various ceremonies. If it received six nominations for the 2023 Oscars – best film, best direction, best original screenplay, best actress for Cate Blanchett, best cinematography and best editing – Cate Blanchett was rewarded three times: she received the Volpi Cup from the best female performance at the 2022 Venice Film Festival, the 2023 Golden Globes for best actress in a drama film and the 2023 BAFTA for best actress.
