I am the fruit of a popular culture which took off in the 90s and which has established itself over the decades as the dominant culture. Video games, cinema, manga, anime, comics, comics, literature, series… I am eager to learn and explore the imaginations available to me, regardless of the media.

Marvel Studios no longer hide it. Only fan nostalgia has kept the MCU alive since the end of the Infinity Stones arc which saw Thanos and then Iron Man perish after an epic fight in Endgame. And the box office results of Deadpool & Wolverine during the summer of 2024 only confirm the company in this direction. The third cinematic adventure of the troublemaker from the Maison des Idées grossed more than 1.3 billion US dollars during its theatrical release for an estimated budget of 200 million. It’s an absolute hit for Marvel which really needed it after the failures of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania then The Marvels in 2023.

$100 million and then gone
Robert Downey Jr.’s return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is scheduled for July 23, 2025 in theaters in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. He should then continue his work in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars respectively expected for May 2026 and May 2027. In addition, it could well be that the actor invests a little more in the MCU over the next few years in making a few appearances in other projects. However, he should definitely leave Marvel at the end of phase 6 and therefore Secret Wars after having pocketed 100 million US dollars to star in 3 films according to the insider Daniel Richtman.
