World music, festive music, jazz… This is the cocktail that the Musicolor festival, version 2024, will offer next November, in Chambon-la-Forêt, in Pithiverais.
The fifteenth edition of the Musicolor festival will be held at the Chambon-la-Forêt village hall on November 8, 9 and 10, 2024. The program has just been revealed.
On Friday 8, at 9 p.m., the public will be able to hear the music group
of the Manzila world. The strings of the oud meet those of the cello, the bass follows the rhythms of the calabash, the saxophone flirts with the vocalizations of the song. A fusion between songs in French and music with African and oriental rhythms.
On Saturday 9, at 9 p.m., it’s time for jazz with the Zenyo quintet group. The musicians offer a rereading of the acoustic period of Miles Davis and his two great quintets of the 1950s and 1960s.

To close the festival, on Sunday 10, at 4:30 p.m., KKO, a collective of nearly thirty musicians, will revive the freylacks, Bulgarians, Jewish horas from Bessarabia with an extra funk! Festive and energetic music that draws on the roots of the klezmer tradition.
