“Plus belle la vie”: Sylvie Flepp reveals behind the scenes of her first day of filming “in bed” with Michel Cordes

A much-anticipated meeting. Friday October 11, Sylvie Flepp, Ambroise Michel, Thierry Ragueneau, Geoffrey Sauveaux and Pierre Martot met at the Prisma Media premises to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the broadcast of the first episode of More beautiful life on 3.

For the occasion, some of them told unexpected anecdotes about the filming of the series to our colleagues at Tele-Leisure. Sylvie Flepp, who slips into the skin of Mirta Torres, particularly remembered her debut in front of the cameras.

According to her, “It started very strong!”I start in a bed with someone I didn’t know. The die was cast. We had seen each other a little before but I don’t remember rehearsing. I didn’t rehearse 20 times in bed with Michel (Cordes, editor’s note)”, confided the actress.

Subsequently, Sylvie Flepp revealed that her playing partner, who died on May 5, 2023, had made a radical decision before the launch of the program. “In any case what he did and really well done: Michel smoked a lot and he stopped smoking the first day we started filming. I hadn’t said anything. He stopped smoking on his own. I found it very nice and elegant. He could see that I didn’t smoke. I don’t know if everyone would have done that.” “It’s hard to talk about him because for Michel, it’s so sad what happened. These are very good memories.” she indicated.

Pierre Martot, for his part, also wanted to pay tribute to the actor with whom he filmed a large part of his life: I think Roland looks like him : warm, able to complain but without ever being unbearable. I really liked working with him. He was very generous and very professional.”

And Thierry Ragueneau concludes: “What I loved doing with him – but it wasn’t nice of me – I asked Michel to do a physical action and speak at the same time but he couldn’t do it. He couldn’t and it was so funny. I laughed a lot about that.” Upsetting confidences.
